Austin and Crystal : Wedding : 06/30/2012

Austin and Crystal were married at Park Place Event Center in Cedar Falls, one of our absolute favorite venues in the area. (http://www.barmuda.com/park_place/)They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and even had a great dove release! While the weather was pretty warm (okay, okay, it was HOT!) we still managed to create some beautiful images that will last a lifetime!

Stevie : Senior 2013

We live quite a ways away from most of my family so I don't often get the chance to photograph many of them. But this last week on what may have been the hottest day of the summer my cousin Stevie came up to have her senior portraits taken. We used the beautiful University of Northern Iowa campus as our location and while the rest of us were on the verge of collapsing with heat stroke Stevie remained calm, cool, and beautiful! 

The Meyers Family Portrait Session

What would I do without the Meyers family? I ask because the Meyers family and I have worked together several times and they just such amazing people. I photographed their oldest daughter Lilli several years ago for her senior portraits, then their son Andy and his cousin Luke last year, these family portraits this season, and maybe, just maybe, their youngest son next year! Looking forward to seeing more of all of them in the years to come!

Levi and Nicole : Engaged

We planned this session long before I think any of us realized that it would be the same weekend as Sturgis Falls. However, even with all the extra people we still managed to create some great images of these two and I even managed to find the same carnie from the day before for another carousel shot! Dana and Janice : Wedding : 06/23/2012

You may remember these two as the impetus for me to get this blog restarted and here they are again! Janice had some great ideas for shots that she wanted on her wedding day and I think we rocked it! They started at a GORGEOUS suite at the Isle Hotel in Waterloo and then off we went to capture some amazing images of these two. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your big day! (Oh, and thanks also be to the carnie who let us take a photo on his carousel for free, you rock at life.)
